Speaker Bio: 

David is well founded in technology and legal strategy, blending operational experience with legal advice on intellectual property, international compliance and complex litigation.

Much of David’s experience was accumulated as general counsel for Intergraph Corporation, where he is credited with Intergraph’s global intellectual property licensing and litigation strategy, which resulted in the recovery of $1 billion from Intel, Dell, HP, IBM, Texas Instruments and other notable technology companies.

In recent years, David has expanded his experience into the burgeoning biotech industry representing biotech providers and as a member of the HudsonAlpha Institute foundation board.

David advises on a variety of compliance areas, including export control and cybersecurity – including the harmonization of U.S., U.K. and European regulations. He has helped define and implement worldwide legal processes, and represented companies in a variety of proceedings throughout the U.S. and abroad. He also advises clients on special U.S. security needs.

Based upon his multijurisdictional experience, David has developed associations with renowned legal counsel worldwide – critical to providing real time multijurisdictional representation.
